You have great reasons to be proud.

Great picture!❤🇺🇸

You look like your dad 😃

Dead ringer.

Sad to look back now on Senator Laura Ellman’s campaign commercial vowing “no pay raises for legislators”.

She has voted for two pay raises for legislators in the last year alone.

Illinois’ Democratic Party has been calamitous for our State. It will be calamitous for DuPage County as well. Let’s work together to keep DuPage County safe and strong and reject the turning over of our communities to the troubled Democratic machine.

The very fact that she was ABLE to vote with her caucus says a lot for her district. They’re not worried about her loosing in 2022, even though she does not represent her constituents in this vote and many other votes that goes against her districts wishes.

She has been a huge disappointment.

Yes I heard it was generally along party lines. Quite disrespectful to taxpayers and business owners who may be furloughed or losing their businesses

Typical isn’t it? Not surprised. Maybe she can refuse her raise? 😆

"The Fixer." The fix is in.

“Read my lips...”

I wonder what percentage of private sector employees will see a raise this year? How many of our small businesses will see gains? State finances are in a catastrophic position, thousands of our businesses have been collapsed, our legislators are already at the top of the pay scale nationally, and yet they vote to give themselves a raise during this crisis? Simply outrageous. Thank you to Rep. Grant Wehrli for voting no. Kevin Coyne ... See MoreSee Less

All House Republican Reps voted no, but this horrible budget is probably headed to the Governor’s desk as we speak. Who on earth would think it’s okay, at a time like this, to increase spending using billions in loans from the Fed to close the budget gap? Not to mention the pay raises and the fact that this new budget - while increasing spending - gives no new funding to K-12 education. I hope voters remember this in November.

Not my Representative!... as in she clearly is not representing my or our interest with a vote like that. A truly great leader, that backs the Governor's shutdown as she has, would forgo their pay and benefits the way they have demanded 10's of millions of Americans to do. To do otherwise is to accentuate: "We are not all in this together"

Just remember they approved their second raise right before doing the budget that wont work without a federal bailout, if that tells you how concerned they are about us or the states budget, they only care about their pockets

Why. What have they done to deserve it.. Especially since they put so many people out of a job

They havent worked for months, they should be giving tax payers back their checks, not getting a raise

Remember to VOTE in November🤬🤬

I'm wondering when the people who voted for those politicians that just voted themselves this raise will decide they have had enough. This is indefensible.

They get a raise while the people that pay them lost their job or did not get a raise... 🙄

They dont deserve a raise. Let them work pro-bono for a while.

What a joke, when millions of Americans are struggling to survive and are out of work and losing their businesses and or struggling to keep them. Disgusting. They don’t deserve raises

How can you ask the Federal Government for a 41 billion dollar bail out and then three weeks later pass an unbalanced budget with a shortfall of 5 billion which includes raises for the legislature?

What the f---- illinois is in desperate times and they are getting pay raises, what a bunch of assholes, not at all for the people who elected them, my God no wonder Illinois is in the crapper, wake up people

Total waste of money ,can't even balance the budget again

Wow what a surprise.Tuck that back in your mind in the next election.

And it keeps going on! This is crazy!!!

How can they get pay 💰 raises at this time.

This is outrageous, I hope people will wake up.

Democratic voters wonder why their butt hurts. But continue to vote for this.

Of course they did. Congress is about congress. You are sadly a nut or bolt in a machine. You’re easily replaced but you keep voting to keep the machine running. They will do what they do until division is abolished and voting in competent employees is achieved

Why are people voting for these types of officials?

Just keep giving yourself raises. Grab grab grab. No one is looking anyway so why not. You deserve it. No one was going to use that money anyway. It was just sitting there. Might as well. Who’s going to notice? There is nothing you can do about it. No one will defend you. We have all the judges in our pockets and they will re lock your doors if you resist.

Remember in November!

Blue state because of one county.

And we wonder why Illinois is near Broke? JUST MAKES NO SENSE!

At least while they were away they didn't do abominable self serving junk like this.
